Oh, the places you’ll go

Feb 16, 2011 | All About Me

I never thought that blogging would bring me where it did today.

Sitting next to Indiana’s Lt. Governor.

With an amazing group of blogging women from all corners of the state.

It was too short. We could have been there four hours and still been talking.

It was truly an honor and a privilege to meet Lt. Gov. Skillman.

No long post about what happened there (or after…but if you are ever in Indy, make sure you carpool w/ the pregnant Casey. Cravings for yogurt get you some of the BEST EVER. On Mass Ave on a night that feels like spring after the Icepocalyse. Perfection. Totally worth the swollen feet from the unexpected hours in my new shoes. And take some time to go thrifting w/ Emily. You may end up hating her a little bit for her mad skillz…but still SO WORTH it.)

      @designhermomma,

      We did…sorry. Next time we’ll make sure everyone goes. Holy cow, I’ve never been (to YoguLatte or Mass Ave, period). You ladies are spoiling me on this city. I may end up loving it…

    I wanted to thank you for coming to the Statehouse. This is the first time I’ve done a roundtable like this, but I’m glad I did. If ever I needed a group of advisers, I certainly have a group of knowledgeable, clever and creative women to call upon.

    Sarah – thanks for participating in the event. Please continue to write about your experience as you inspire other Hoosier moms.
