I’ve been a mom for how many years? I’ve faced how many illnesses? I myself was a sickly-ish child with allergies out the arse (Seriously – Milk, Corn AND Wheat? Did God hate me??)…

So why is it I get paralyzed with fear when I find THIS:

Seriously…I took off Molly’s PJ’s to prep for bath and rash all over! Instead of calmly saying, “It’s likely roseola”…I freak and call DH. “OMG! There’s a HIDEOUS rash on Molly! WTF?!?!”

DH ever so calmly reassures me (I love that I’m calm when he’s flipping and vice-versa) that it explains the fevers of the past couple of nights…and was probably roseola…and he’d had it when he was a kid…and he had to get back to work.

*thunk*

Yeah. I have called the pediatrician. I’m waiting on a nurse call-back.

I have also called the pulmonologist’s CF nurse because our worries have been realized…K is coughing. Wet, phlegmy, nasty cough (which I think is good…means she’s bringing it up)…so I have to apprise them of the situation…as well as the Molly situation. *Sigh*

I HATE WINTER.

Oh, I better call the chiro and cancel.
