All taken w/ Canon Rebel XTi or my Droid.
All of my absolute favorite pictures from 2010. Luckily I only got really photo crazy in the past couple of months or this would be far more insanely long than it already is.
See more of my favorite photos over at my flickr account.
That’s all for this week. Head on over to Lotus‘ digs to see more!!
Great collection for the year! I look forward to seeing what you capture in 2011.
@Tara R.,
Thank you!! It was tough picking favorites. Every time I thought I was done, I found more! Even now I’m realizing ones that I forgot that are definitely among my favorites!! I’m almost afraid for the new year and how many images I will bring into it. Narrowing it down to absolute favorites could well be impossible *lol*
Whoa! These are some amazing shots! Wonderful eye, great captures!
@the planet of janet,
Thank you, Janet!! It’s nice to see you again 🙂 I love these photos…even though they aren’t all perfect composition, they are still amazing in their imperfection!!
Great photos! Great idea. I wish I’d have thought of it.
@carol anne,
Thanks, Carol Anne! I actually got the idea from Tara R. She did it last week, and I thought it was a great way to wrap up the year!
such beautiful shots! it must have been very hard to pick so few….i really like lines to the past.
@Terrie,
It was almost impossible to pick so few! I wanted to pick even less – but several were ones I knew had to be in there, and others just yelled at me that they had to be shown again!!
so many great shots here! i especially love lines to the past and drops.
@tara,
Lines to the past is one of my absolute favorites, too. I actually have the almost identical shot covered in snow in my flickr account…here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8381202@N07/5233496784/in/set-72157625024488711/
I love my train tracks. Want to get more pictures of them! 😀
Marvelous collection of photos this week!
@stacey@Havoc&Mayhem,
Thanks Stacey!! It was very difficult to pick out favorites, but I’m glad I did!
Loved the railroad track, reflections and the butterfly taking flight! All of the pics are wonderful, those are my favorite of the set.
@Malia,
Thanks so much!! Those are 3 of my absolute favorites, too!! The railroad track has been my favorite for a while…but I’m always stunned when I see the butterfly shot – it’s almost surreal.
Wow those are so awesome. Mind if I ask, how in the world did you get such close-up pictures of the butterflies and dragonfly???? Incredible!
@Texan Mama,
Thanks!!
You sure can ask. I was actually very lucky to stumble upon those butterflies & dragonflies. Angel and I went to the local park one day and instead of going to the playground, followed some trails along the creek. Because it was so dry, we went down into the creek and stumbled into this little area just filled with both creatures. I took a seat and put on my zoom lens (my 70-300mm) and just started taking pictures. The taking flight one was PURE luck that I didn’t even know I had until I got home!!
What an amazing set of shots. There isnt one that is nicer than the other!
The butterfly one is spectacular though – well caught!
@Laura,
Thanks so much, Laura!! The butterfly one is definite in my top 3!! I still can’t believe some days that I managed to capture that one!
I love the third shot, and the sunset, but you have so many great shots this week!
@Rachael,
🙂 Thanks, Rachael. That’s one of my favorite pictures of Angel. The lighting isn’t what is normally considered ‘perfect’…but it certainly works for that shot!
wow, so amazing pictures!
the hummingbird and butterflies are awesome adn I love the lines and the railroad track! I think I could fill a wall of my house with railroad track or front doors and NEVER tire of looking at it!
All the pictures are awesome! love the railroad, sunrise and the drops!
this is def a great set! Happy New Year, I look forward to sharing with you this year!
