All taken w/ Canon Rebel XTi.

Unfortunately I totally spaced out and didn’t get pictures of us ACTUALLY playing (on family game night…either of them) – but this is me just goofing around to get some pics. Once in the beautiful snowfall and once w/ food as I was prepping lunch for the hubs.

      @carrie in texas,

      Thanks. I’d totally forgotten I had that scarf until the snowstorm finished dropping snow. Once I remembered, I had to do this shoot. And yes, my husband’s lunch looks so yummy – I hd to take these pictures…it made me happy 😀

      @stacey@Havoc&Mayhem,

      Thanks, Stacey!! I had a lot of fun playing in the snow…it wasn’t until last night that I realized I’d freaked out my feverish (and slightly hallucinating) neighbor when he saw me outside plotting and snapping shots!! *G*

      @rachel,

      Being able to make people hungry w/ just a photograph makes me very happy!!

      But I’m even happier you like the first photo! I made it my FB profile pic I was so happy with it…the only fault I had with it was I had to take it facing my garage…I would have preferred it in solid snow – but that would have required driving out to a field and I didn’t want to go that far from home *lol*

      @Marcia Francois,

      Thanks Marcia!! I had so much fun with my two little mini-photo shoots this week. I’m hoping I can come up with a few more this week. I’ll just be happy to settle for just continuing to use my camera every day 😀

      @Denise,

      Thank you, Denise! My brother brought me back those chopsticks from Japan when he lived their with the Air Force. I’m so sad that they’re starting to show their age, but I love them SO much!!

      That scarf is so old…and it’s not one I use on a regular basis at ALL…in fact I’d forgotten I had it until I got the idea for these pictures…and then I was so happy it was still hiding back in our closet!

    I love “flaking”– it’s beautiful! Also, where did you get those divider things for lunch? I LOVE that and would LOVE it even more if I used it for myself 🙂 Great shots!

      @Lotus / Sarcastic Mom,

      I had to do the peeking shot. The freezing cold insisted on it!! I am hoping to get a remote for my camera soon…So many of the issues I had on this shoot would be resolved!!

      Anyway, so glad you like the scarf pic too!! I knew that red would pop against the untouched snow. It was worth freezing my toes (forgot my extra shots on this shoot).
