Hump Day Hook – Week 15 {Changing Tracks}

ChangingTracks_LRGAnother Hump Day Hook!  Once again I’m bringing Jane Doe to the party.

It’s been a rush the past two weeks as my book has been published, and read by people I know.  Now my baby is going out into the world with blog tours and review sites.

As the whirlwind continues I wanted to bring you a character I’ve not yet shown during Hump Day Hook…the husband Jane can’t remember – and that knows her as Clara:

“Please don’t call me Clara.”

“I don’t know if I can call you anything else.” His hand settled on her shoulder. “I know who you are.”

“I might have been. Once.” Jane sighed.

    That would be a terrible situation for both sides – to not remember your husband or that you were married on her side, and to have your wife not remember you or anything else on his side. So much is said in so few words. A sad but really good hook.

    I can’t imagine being in a situation like that. How frightening it would be!

    Wow, what a nice twist, and in so few words. I wonder if she’ll remember or will she fall in love with him all over again? Great job!
