Getting Buggy – Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Sep 8, 2013 | Photography, Scavenger Hunt Sunday

This week had me working most of the week, but with a birthday party and some outside time I captured a few…including several bugs. Due to pure exhaustion today I’m forgoing my usual quotes with the images…but hope to return to them next week.
All taken w/ Canon Rebel XS or Nokia 822.

1. Labor Day/Labor/Work
Mama’s looking for a new job – so I got interview ready. Feel special, I rarely do selfies.

It’s a lot of work to eat all that cake (might be stretching it, but she was so cute)

3. Pill(s)
We have no shortage of pills in this house…

No shortage at all.

4. Up Close
Mama protecting her eggs…found her on the table I was using for the party. I’m sure you can guess where she and her eggs ended up.

An unexpected guest to our party…and very welcome.

5. White Space
A not-green mantis that showed up…he did a lot of posing for me.

It was leaning against the white house…that is all…

      Thanks!!

The frog was so cute! He had a really huge jump, too. We kept him around for a while then set him free. 😀

Thanks so much, Brandi! I thought the mantis was so cool looking since it wasn’t green. I also loved the way he kept posing for me and tilting his head. So happy the pictures came out so well. 😀

Nicely captured images. The pill caddy is a familiar item in our house.

Lovely shots! Oh, that little frog! He is cute but I doubt if I would hold him in my hands.

Well done for the prompts. I really love the shot of that adorable little frog. Your spider shot was pretty cool as well. Sad that they met their demise though.
I know about the pill caddy’s too.
    Hope your Interview went well.
