Back to Hump Day Hook!
Another week of [amazon_link id=”B00FE1AVOU” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Dark Territory[/amazon_link]. So glad the full series is out. Live has been too chaotic for much promo, but make sure to pick up the full series. Changing Tracks, Derailed, and Dark Territory.
Jane decides to set the record straight on the rumors about her and the many men she’s been with – by comparing herself to the woman she was before amnesia:
“Clara was indiscriminate.” Jane reduced her voice to a whisper, so Graham had to lean further over to hear her.
“Half the army camp, Janey. That’s a good thirty men you bedded.” Graham chortled.
“Did I?” She handed the glass back to Cole. When he filled it, she snatched it back and downed it. Based on her wince, her throat already hurt from the conversation.
Graham’s brows furrowed. “Well, yeah, leastwise, that’s what everyone said.”
“Everyone? Interesting. Did I?”

Back to Hump Day Hook!
Past couple of weeks have been a bit out of sorts for me, but I’m back…and with Dark Territory again with a switch…this time it has been released and my first reader email raving about my Jane and my Cole have left me in such a very good mood.
Cole and Graham have been maneuvering, bribing, and coercing to keep Jane’s non-death under wraps. Rusty has written an article on the “new” librarian in town:
The article was cut and dry from what he could tell. Her credentials were listed, and Rusty said she’d been a librarian out east.
Mail-order bride, brought out West by Cole Mitchell.
“What?”
That was all it took to send Graham reeling again. The man was literally purple when he fell back on his ass, pointing at Cole.
“That little son of a bi—”

Another Hump Day Hook!
Back to Dark Territory! I ran through my proof copy just this week, so I’m feeling share-y. 😀
Back to Katherine’s predicament from couple weeks back. She’s been thrown into a wall and now has a gun leveled at her by the mysterious “no name” man:
“Yes, you do, messy and complicated. What you did to Jane…”
“Oh, you foolish child. There is no Jane. It’s Clara. She fooled you all. I’d be impressed if it hadn’t cost me.” Johnny quirked a brow. “That’s why Mr. Krenshaw’s attitude toward Clara was fortuitous. It gave me a way to stay close and exact some revenge, as well as a way to recover some of my funds lost to that little whore.”

Another Hump Day Hook!
Back to Dark Territory! Last week I spooked you all, this week I got a little more light-hearted fare
Cole has just discovered a news article with a blatant lie about himself. His business partner, Graham, thinks it’s the most hilarious thing ever:
“That little son of a bi—”
“Ha.” Graham slapped the floor before hopping back on his feet. “You’re the one that wanted an alternate story. That’s what you get for leaving it up to Rusty. You know he’s still mad at you.”
“I didn’t do nothing to him.”
“You sent him a whore at church.”
“Well, he said I watered down my whiskey.”
“You do.” Graham snickered.

Another Hump Day Hook!
It’s your first glimpse at the third (& final – for now) book in my Dominion Falls series! I’m in edits right now, and still haven’t even revealed the blurb yet (because I’m evil that way)…but you’re getting a glimpse now!
Here Kat, Jane’s best friend, has gone to try to get answers from the town slime, Jackson Krenshaw…and finds something far worse than an egomaniac waiting on her:
“He didn’t leave them.” A voice colder than any Kat had ever heard spoke directly behind her. “I did.”
She was afraid to move, and Jackson’s pupil blown fear didn’t help ease the rising panic. Her fingers flexed around the horseshoe. “Wh-who are you?”
“I have no name,” the stranger replied.

Another Hump Day Hook!
I’ve started a new book. It’s part of my Lake Point series and contracted for Valentine’s day 2014.
For this week – I’m introducing Michaela O’Keefe, a 31-year-old divorcee who has spent the 5 years since the divorce rebuilding her life. Unfortunately, her ex just blew into town:
“I thought you’d be happy to see me.”
“You thought wrong. I was happy when you left town with your latest flavor of the month three years ago.” She leaned on the desk. “We’re divorced. You’re not welcome in my home, and not in my business, either.”
“Public place, baby. I can come and go as I want.”
